Whether it's a small private party in the Alexander room, a quiet table for two next to the fire in the Parlor or a cup of tea and a good book in a wingback chair in the Churchill Room, this is the place for you to relax and enjoy youself.

One of my favorite places to meet friends for lunch. The staff are friendly, the service is good. The tomato soup is to die for! Everything I have tried is good. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other tea rooms. They tend to be very busy, so we always make a reservation and have never had a problem getting seated. Definitely recommended.

I had heard that the service was not the best which I agree with. The waitress was nice enough when you engaged her in a conversation but shouldn't waitresses always be friendly? I had to hunt her down twice when I needed service & she didn't come back to check on us at all once we'd received out food. The tea was good & the food was alright. However, Village Eatery & Tea Co. is 30 seconds away, is better priced, most everything is made in house, & I had a better time there.

We traveled many miles to try out this tea room based on reviews. I think it is hit-or-miss. If you go to tons of tea rooms in search of the perfect high tea (like us), keep looking. But it's reasonable if you're nearby and want a decent afternoon tea. The tea room decor is okay and the tea itself was average. The food was beautifully presented and most of it nice. Service was fairly slow and we had to get up in order to get our check.

I have been to this tea room many times over the years. I have gone with out of town guests and local friends on weekends and mid week. I have always had excellent service, excellent food and a welcoming and calm environment. My personal menu favorites have been the high tea, salads, quiche, croissant sandwiches and a nice selection of tea. I am planning a return visit with a special aunt in a couple of weeks and we both can't wait. Thank you for providing an English get away for us to spend our precious time together.

There food was pretty good. The scones expectally. The tea was alright.. expectally that i saw one of the workers SPIT in my daughters tea! I was so shocked at first I didn't say anything. Then I asked my daughter if she knew the young lady who had done it. She said she went to her school, her name was Izzi, or sometimes known as elisebeth (sorry if thats not the right spelling) My daughter had told me she heard her talking about how she likes to do that as a joke to the people who come to eat there, expectally if they were older. Well without paying we left. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this tea house again.

I wish the ratings were not based on the four items listed above. There is so much more to a tea room! The 10 other ladies on my tea tour visited here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. We so enjoyed everything about tea time. The service was amazing, considering how busy they were...a steady line waiting to enjoy tea! Everything tasted delicious, the tea foods were attractively plated, tea was tasty and hot, and the offerings were certainly enough. This is a charming tea room in a small establishment but they make it work. Not all tea rooms are the same but enjoy the differences.

We decided to try this tea room out on April 3, 2010 and were sadly disappointed. My friend and I adore high tea, but did not find it in this pretentious little place, emphasis on little! The table was not even big enough to hold our pots of tea, 2 regular and 1 child's, let alone the food. We both ordered the Afternoon Tea @ $15.50 each and split a chicken Caesar salad as the amount of food amounted to a snack. The 4 triangle sandwiches were on spongy white bread and the fillings were barely there, hardly enough to taste and not pleasant at that. The plate was rounded out by a few slices of apple, orange, one strawberry and a slice of kiwi and 3 cookies of shortbread, quality dubious. The salad wasn't bad, but the server forgot the chicken which he got when I asked about it, ice-cold and hard. They had little variety in the teas, all just basic teas. Mine was weak and tasteless. I love English Breakfast and this was not up to snuff at all. Our server wasn't attentive at all and we had to keep looking for him! I wouldn't go again, not when there are other quality tea rooms to go to already.

This is the noisiest tea room I have ever visited. Have visited weekdays and it is still like being at Red Robin. No relaxing chat with your bf is possible. Food is good, but the ambience is more like a loud bar than a tea room

I wish I could gives marks ABOVE EXCELLANT! Agroup of 12 of us went yesterday. The atmosphere is charming. Formal but not fussy. The menu had many great choices from bruch or lunch items, as well as traditional tea sets. The food is completly homemade and truly wonderful. The attention to every detail was amazing; from the lovely table settings to the intricut checkerboard & heart shortbread cookies. A nice selection of loose leaf teas served in lovely individual pots. Probably the best scones and lemon curd I have ever had in a tearoom. And some of us are real tea snobs :). We also spent 2 hours shoppin ate the charming Country Village next door. We all said we'll be back again.

This quaint little shop rests quiet and unimposing to one side of 527, easily missed by the hurried, bustling traveler, but ever welcoming to those who stop to notice it.
Once inside you are greeted with a cozy warmth, charming decor, and friendly, knowledgable staff. The building is divided into a few small rooms, each one artfully enriched with an authentic English touch. Small tables and cushiony chairs make for a comfortable, intimate experience out with a group or just a pair of loved ones.
The food is excellent; salads, sandwiches and teas made quickly and without error. The staff are friendly and always eager to answer any questions you may have (for those of you who are new to the tea room scene), and will suggest teas to try, or even offer to pour you your first cup. When visiting, you MUST try the scones.
Best experienced on a cold, rainy day, with a good friend across from you.

This place is beautiful and inviting. It was actually decorated by someone from britain, so it has a very authentic feel to it, and it has some incredibly cozy seating. Velvet armchairs? Yes please.
The food can be expensive, but it's artfully done and delicious, and worth every penny. The owner and the wait staff are like a family, and they try to make you feel like family as well. They do their best to make sure you're comfortable and getting great service.
The tea selection isn't the best, and because they brew it loose in your pot, your tea can get bitter if you don't drink it quick enough. But the greatness of the food, service, and atmosphere is more than enough to cancel those small cons out.

I cannot possibly say enough wonderful things about the staff at Elizabeth and Alexander's! As a maid of honor, I chose to throw the bridal shower here and it was SUCH a hit!! Everyone absolutely loved the place, the atmosphere, the service, the food, the whole deal! They even let us play a special CD mix we made just for the bride throughout the party, and even let us stay late as we were opening gifts and finishing up. They were beyond helpful, sweet, considerate, and accomodating. I am SO thankful I was able to throw the party here - the bride was blessed beyond words. THANK YOU ELIZABETH AND ALEXANDER'S!!

Today I had the delightful opportunity to dine at Elizabeth & Alexander Tea Room, where I was immediately greeted with friendly warmth. The food was delicious, the scones were mouth watering and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the soothing atmosphere with beautiful music & cozy decor. Most importantly, I enjoyed warm friendly interaction with the proprietor, Susan, who oozes sincere warmth and charm. What a delightful experience. Thank you so much!

Absolutely delightful atmosphere. Delicious food and great tea selection. Cheerful waitstaff. Perfect place for a Saturday lunch with the girls, although from my experience, the guys like it, too. Don't miss this place - it has no rivals in the NW.

We stumbled upon this place one day while we were actually looking for another address. We decided to stop and have lunch here. We are so glad that we did. l am from England and found the decor an absolute delight. l felt like l was in a little tea cottage back home. The food was delicious, and plenty on our plates. The tea was nice and hot, and properly brewed. The hostess could not have been nicer. Nothing was to much trouble.l live in SW washington State but look forward to my next trip to Bothell where l will visit this charming little venue again.

I took my bridesmaids here for a bridesmaid luncheon a few days before I got married. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Our host was very gratious and accomodating, the food was delicious and filled everyone up till the rehearsal dinner, and the ambiance we very relaxing (just what I needed right before a big wedding). I would definitely recommend it and plan on going back next time I am nearby.

I've been here on two different occasions, and the service and food have been great. This place has a warm athemosphere, and is quite cozy. Love the spread on the menu too -- so much to choose, and both times have been extremely tasty. I highly recommend this place.

We had beyond excellent service at our Grandma's 101st birthday. The food was excellent....everything was better than I could have imagined and Grandma was treated like a queen. Cheers to the wonderful and warm staff.

I've taken my family and friends here. It has very nice Englishy country atmosphere, but not so frilly that the guys feel like running. The service has always been friendly. I personally like the non-tea time items and the savory tea items. The Alexander tea is my favorite. The choclate dessert items have an additional 'taste' that I can't quite identify and don't like, so I just don't order them. Lots of other things, especially their tea sandwiches or spinach salad.

I had a group tea at the Elizabeth and Alexander's Tea Room. We were given a room to ourselves which was great. I have also come to have tea here with my father. The food here was good, not the best I've had, but definitely better than average. They even gave us some scones to take home. The tea choices were good and the atmosphere at the tea room is cozy. I would recommend this place to my friends for a nicer tea party. My only complaint with this tea room was that when we were there as a group our server was not the friendliest or happy person, in fact many people in our group commented on her rudeness. However, when I went back with my Dad we had a different server and she was absolutely wonderful.

I had one of the teas offered here, the sandwiches, the crumpets with the lemon curd were very tasty except for the desserts they were a little stale. However, the selection of tea was not so great. There was nothing special or quite extravagant about their tea's at all. Unfortunately their teapots were quite 'drippy' i had hot water leak everywhere and the waitress was very hard to track down and we were almost the only people in there. I liked it, I would go back but for the price I would expect more from the tea selection, desserts and leaky teapots.

I really enjoy this teahouse. I've been here several times as it is near my home. They can accomodate parties of 10 with a reservation in a nice back room with a large round table. I like the atmosphere and its nice to sit next to the fire when its cold outside. For the most part the service has been fairly good. I love the scones and the chocolate cake!

The food was fabulous. They know how to do lemon sweets. The lemon curd was out standing and I have never had a better lemon tea cake. We bought curd to take home with us. I had the savory torte and it was also wonderful and it came with a huge salad. My friend had the high tea and enjoyed it as well. Great presentation. The service was great. Although it looked like he was bit over run. My baby was unfortunately crying more fussy while we were there and he was very polite and tried to find something for my baby to eat to settle her down. The attmosphere was Victorian and relaxing. If there was anything that I would change it would be the tea. I couldn't taste the bergamont in my Earl Grey.

This was my first visit to this teashop. The exterior is a little rundown, but inside is quaint.
Service:It was fairly quiet when I arrived, which was pleasant. Service was slow at first, then it picked up rather quickly, with my server checking up on me every few minutes and then the service died down again to where I had to wait quite awhile to get my check. It seemed kind of inconsistent, however my server provided good service.
Food: I ordered the Alexander tea. The food was simple and delicious. I appreciated the variety of fruit along with the savory sandwiches. The cookies (black and white cookies) were somewhat bland, but I enjoyed the almond cookie. The plate was not overstuffed with food. It was good portions that left me pretty full.
The tea I chose was excellent, but there could be more options to choose from.
All in all, I would come here again.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Beyond the dowdy looking entrance and inadequate parking lot lies what may well be the best tea room in the County. Whether you seek breakfast, lunch or a tea experience, E&A you will find many choices here, in a setting that manages be be both elegent and comfortable. The food is unfailingly excellent. My one complaint is that once the tea pot is emptied, you will be offered hot water over the used leaves. A perfectly brewed pot of tea delivered to the table--ans strainers and/or tea bags--would make this tea room experience perfect for this tea lover. (There's lots of parking in adjacent Country Village, but be prepared to walk.)
