This is a really fun place to have a classic tea time break. Highly recomend stopping by. Very helpful staff and good selection of black teas to choose from. Also, a decent selection of snacks, it feels like stepping back in time

  • Communitea

I live very close to this place. Its more of a coffee shop than a tea house but it has a great selection of black, green and herbal teas as well as some nice blends. The atmosphere is very nice and a great place to plop down with your computer and work

  • Argo Tea

    

As I said in a review for their other location, Argo feels like a very corporate, starbucks-esque tea place. Lots of green teas with fruit flavoring along with plenty of sweetened, bottled iced teas. Not the best

  • Argo Tea Cafe

    

This place is a chain and honestly reminds me of a Starbucks version of a tea house. Argo is way more focused on herbal blends that will have just a bit of green tea in it. If you're a huge tea connoisseur, this isn't the place for you

  • Subtle Tea

    

Subtle tea is a tea distribution company rather than just a tea house. They have a few good blends but a lot of their teas available are iced and lightly sweetened. Much better than other bottled iced teas

  • Tea Drunk

    

This is a super straightfoward Chinese tea house and has some of the rarest teas I've ever had. They have a couple delicious yellow teas as well a huge selection of incredible oolong teas (my absolute favorite)

  • Physical GraffiTea

    

Im not a fan of the neighborhood but this place has a pretty good selection. Unlike more traditional tea houses, this place has a lot of unconventional and herbal blends meant for specific ailments. Its a fun place

  • Two for the Pot

    

This is a store, not a place where you can order a tea. Its a fun place to pop into every couple months to see what new products they have. They have more than tea, there's spices, coffees and other fun dried items

  • Cha-An

    

Such a cool place not just for the tea but. for the experience. Lots of good green and white teas plus plenty of little bites to enjoy while you're sipping your tea. I highly recommend coming here if you can

  • Sullivan Street Tea & Spice Company

    

This place is tiny but it has a pretty good selection. Mainly black and green teas with flavoring or fruit in it. Not a bad place to check out for some good basic tea. Nice and friendly customer service

  • Yaya Tea Garden

    

This is another one of those bubble tea shops so Im not sure if it really fits here. Ive been here once and while my tea drink was good, it wasn't really what I'd call "tea". Its more of a sweet drink place

  • Harney & Sons SoHo

    

This is probably my favorite and the best quality tea shop in Manhattan. I always love stopping by here when I can and checking out what they have. Its just fun to browse and the customer service is just stellar

  • The Cupping Room Cafe

    

Im not entirely sure why this is listed on this site. They may have tea but its much more of a brunch spot and place to get drinks and snacks. Not giving it one star because its bad, it just shouldn't be on this site

  • Silk Road Mo Cha

    

Pretty normal for a milk tea place. I wouldn't call it a real tea house, its more for flavored teas with sugar and flavors. Not a bad place but don't expect a wide selection of rare or interesting teas

  • Nom Wah Tea House

    

This is an okay place to get some dumplings and a pretty straight forward asian restaurant tea blend. If you like dim sum, without a doubt check this place out but don't expect a very wide selection of tea

  • Courtyard Restaurant at Boston Public Library

A really good deal for what you get. The finger food and fine teas is a classic experience

  • Imperial Tea Court - Berkeley

    

This place got me into tea. They have an extensive menu of very high quality teas and incredible knowledgable staff. Their food is also delicious, try the hand pulled noodles

  • Imperial Tea Court

    

I came here after frequenting their Berkeley location. They are very focused on quality and proper preparation of their teas. The food is also incredible

  • Ten Ren Tea

    

One of the better tea ren locations I've been to. This brand can come off as a little impersonal but the staff at this store are really friendly and do a good job and helping you decide which tea to get

  • Beloved Cafe

    

Super cozy and snug. It can get pretty crowded. Its less known for its teas but has great coffee and baked goods

  • Leland Tea Company

    

Awesome place just to sit down, have a cup of tea and get some work done. Great selection of tea and pastries

  • Ten Ren's Tea Time

    

Since this is a pretty large chain, the selection is just alright. Nothing special or exciting. There are better tea shops in Chinatown

  • Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter I

    

I prefer the other location more. This one gets very loud and crowded which ruins the experience

  • Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter II

    

Super cute little tea house. Perfect for brunches or a date.

  • Kava Shteeble

    

Not much of a tea place. More of a coffee shop. Theey have a pretty simple selection of tea

  • Himalaya Teahouse

    

This place is a nice and casual spot to grab a cup. Expect to be there for a little while

  • Fang Gourmet Tea

    

It really reminds me of the tea shops I used to go to in San Francisco. Great selection and bountiful free samples

  • Lovejoy's Tea Room

This place is just a classic. Lovely staff and service and great tea
