Had tea there for the first time today. Miss Sue is the ultimate hostess, warm and friendly and the food was to die for! Yes the scones are small but PACKED with flavor. Who goes to tea expecting to waddle out the door stuffed to the gills? Only a hog, I imagine. The food is QUALITY, not quantity. I am planning a rehearsal dinner in December with 30 people and can't wait!!!

Visited this tearoom recently and was disappointed with the food. Soup was delicious, but scone was bite sized and not much taste. Only 2 types of sandwiches and the beef wrap was very dry. Dessert was choice of slice of pie or something chocolate. Tea choices were good and lots of decaf selections. Need to use tea cozies to keep tea warm. Will not be returning here.

My group of ladies (and some men too) have been to the Old Farm House 4 times and have plans to return every other month. Sue serves the best soups besides all the other wonderful goodies.

Old Farmhouse is the best value for the price in the area for $12 high tea, and children are welcome (only $8). Suzanne serves two teas per table on warmers so your teas never get cold; you will not run out of tea either. You can choose from about 15-20 teas, and the service includes fruit cup, small salad with choice of dressing on the side, scones & tea breads with cream served to each individual, soup, two mini-sandwiches served family style and a choice of dessert and fruit punch.
The Old Farmhouse is a historic site along Rt. 30 in York County. The seating is very close together. They also do catering at a very reasonable price!! We use them to cater our church teas and have been very pleased.
This is a great place to introduce kids to tea.

The tea room has become a tradition for all the ladies in our family for Mother's Day. The food is delicious and you get so much for your money (best price in the area). The hosts are the best and really cater to their guests. After each visit, we all got a small gift to take along and the youngsters got something extra special! We thought of trying different tea rooms but are so satisifed with this one, why go any place else? We look forward to it again this year!

I have been to this tearoom several times, and it is absolutely one of my favorites. Sue prepares the most delicious foods, and I have never been disappointed. My husband has accompanied me several times and so has my grown son. Both have been highly pleased and always have plenty of food to satisfy them. I don't hesitate to recommend this tearoom.

Excellent place for a lovely afternoon. On the outside looks like just an old farm house, but on the inside, you are transformed into Victorian Tea Times. Sue is a very gracious hostess, the food was absolutely delicious and the decor lovely. It was so nice to have choices on several items served even though we had chosen our entree earlier. This is the first tea our group attended that we actually had to take food home because there was just too much to eat. Great value for reasonable price. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Delightful! The old farmhouse is beautiful and well kept, and the food is delicious. We especially enjoyed the house dressing and crispy cold salad greens. I was pleased that special attention was paid to my 93 year old mother who was somewhat confused about the menu. She had a wonderful time along with the rest of us. It is sometimes difficult to take her places, but this tea was a definite '10' in our book.

What a comfortable and welcoming tea room. The 5 of us meet every few months at a different tearoom. I'm the novice of the group, but I have come to love these outings for the experience and the friendship. The Old Farm House Tea House is a lovely setting for getting together. We were offered a variety of teas and chose two: the berry and chai spice. Both were pleasingly good. We chose high tea, including several delicious courses. The conversation and food flowed continuously. I especially enjoyed the variety of veggies in the salad and the honey mustard house dressing, the creamy potato soup, and the chocolate scone. I also enjoyed the extra touches found in the serving dishes for each course. It made us all feel very special and we'll definitely go back! You won't find pretenses here, but you will find a friendly atmosphere. Thank you for allowing us to stay and chat awhile.

The Old Barn House Tea House kindly scheduled us in on a Saturday. When we walked in the attmosphere was immediatly comfortable, like we were with family. The food was a little lacking (except for dessert). But definatly a place I will bring a friend to.

On a recent vacation to visit my sister we went to 4 different tea houses. We decided to make the Old Farm House Tea House one of our stops. We were not disappointed. This tea house is crammed full of all sorts of antiques and fun items. You can pretty much ask to buy anything you see. And the prices were so incredibly reasonable. The owner and one other lady were working and were very friendly and kind. The room was full when we arrived and everyone was having a good time. For our dessert there we had a banana custard parfait that tasted just like something my mom would make us when we were little girls. Yummy!!

I was quite impressed for my first experience in a Tea Room. Our host was very cheery and very willing to share stories with us. We left there feeling apart of the family. Our host was happy to accomodate our large group. The food was very good. Very well presented. Each course was yummy. Everything was neat and clean and in its proper place. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. The girls and I had fun trying on the wide variety of hats and clothes. I was very fascinated by the period hand bags as well. A very elegant collection of antiques to look at and purchase.I highly reccomend The Old Farm House especially if you are looking for a place to relax and relive your childhood days of playing dress up and sample the selection of teas.
