Paint The Roses Teahouse & Cafe
What a pleasant surprise and visit you will have at this tearoom. We, the Posse (four of us), chose to go to Paint the Roses last Thursday, the 26th of February. The historic town of Hopewell impressed us, and on arriving at Paint the Roses we could hardly wait to enter. Greeted by Mike, the owner, we were seated in a charming room filled with polished antiques, which we had a good time examining. After chatting with Mike and choosing which teas to have.......I chose the pineapple coconut (delicious)...... our wonderful High Tea began. A plateful of tasty sandwiches arrived for each of us and along with our piping hot teas we savored each one. Then the warm, out of the oven, English toffee scones were presented and we loved every bite, as scones are the highlight of all High Teas we have gone to in our 6 years of doing this. Hmm good! We were pleasantly stuffed, so we had our perfect desserts packed to go and after such a long peaceful time there, vowed to definitely return to Paint the Roses Tearoom again soon. Mike is the perfect Host and server as well as conversationalist. We had a wonderful time. A big thanks, too, for my birthday surprise!

Harmony Tea Room
A favorite place I've been to many times, each time all was perfect. Very friendly staff, and if you are looking to experience a high tea, don't hesitate to go here. It's one of the best with great scones, sandwiches and all the rest, as well as the pretty tea cozies.

New Leaf Tea Room & Gift Shoppe
We, the Posse, arrived here on Thursday for a wonderful high tea. There are 4 of us that love visiting tearooms and this was an occasion with two of us just having returned from a trip to Ireland/Scotland. We were very impressed with the decor, sandwiches, scones (out of this world) and service, to say nothing of the delicious desserts. Lovely Owner, Phyllis, made sure everything was perfect for us and it was. The only item we felt missing was the tea cozies we find in many of the tearooms we've visited. We will plan to return!
