The Front Porch Tea Room
This was my second visit to The Front Porch and I have to say it didn't disappoint. The food was just as fresh and tasty as I remember from my first visit. Today I brought a group of ladies that I work with and they enjoyed it as well. It was nice to come in the spring to see the gardens this time.
Tearoom response:
Diane,
I am so happy that you enjoyed your visit with us. Thanks so much for your compliments.

A Tea Affair
Another excellent get-together of our Downton Abbey group. We had the Garden Tea which consisted of soup (for me Creamy Broccoli), chicken salad, cucumber and BLT sandwiches, lime meringue cookie, decadent chocoate torte cake and a rasperry scone. Everything was delicious - our sever was quite enthusastic and sweet and the owner stopped by several times to ensure we were having a nice time. The tea room atmosphere was bright and cheery and there was a great selection of teas at the shop. Definitely will go back.

The Talking Teacup
Overall a good experience. I would recommend tea warmers be used to keep the tea hotter for those of us who like to chat and take our time - perhaps we were a little too chatty - lol. All the food was very tasty and the scones were excellent. I loved that we all had our own pot of tea and so we had 4 different teas to pass around and try. Lovely setting, beautiful decor.
