My husband and I went there several years ago when they also had a tea shop attached to the tearoom. It was quaint and delightful. Sadly-since moving the team room it has lost it's ambiance and the tea had become adequate.

My friends and I travel from Virginia each year to visit the area. One of our favorite things is to visit A Tea Affair. What a fun time we have! The Tea luncheon itself is full of delicious sandwiches and dessert treats. Then we spend time looking in the shop through the many assortments of teas and accessories. The food and tea selection were excellent. The owner and staff were friendly and willing to make our experience truly wonderful.

I took my daughter here for her first tea. It is beautiful and modern inside. We both had loose tea. They had a delicious Valentine's Day inspired tea with caramel hints. The scones were warm when they came out and fabulous. They were sweet and took time to explain everything on my plate and my 7 year olds. It was an all around wonderful experience and we will be back.

A Tea Affair was an astonishing experience! I have never been to such an amazing tea. I travel for business and frequent tea rooms in London, Paris and Tuscany to name a few. Such a breath of fresh air to stumble onto this place! I must say I am dissatisfied with the negative reviews on here, must not be tea lovers as I am .). From the floral, loose leaf, black and greens the selection is by far the best: over 300 flavors to choose from. Have a bad scone? Whoopdedoo! The effort of the owner and her staff shows. I give this tea room 5 stars and an A in my book. Hope to return next time I am in the states.

We had reservations for a Mother's Day luncheon. We started with a selection of teas, which come served in your own little tea pot. I had my 4 year old along, and she was very excited to be able to pour her own tea! We also had delicious peach scones with an amazing lemon curd, which I was later told is locally made and also sold in the shop.
Next we had a salad with mixed greens, fruits, and feta cheese, serviced with a strawberry vinegarette. It was very refreshing!
Next came a three tiered tray of assorted tea sandwiches and desserts, all of which were phenomenally executed!
I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day. Staff and service was great! Presentation and taste of food was on point. The shop has an amazing selection of loose teas and accessories. Location is great and parking is convenient.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! I am 27, my daughter is 4, and my grandmother is 83. Perfect for all ages!

We had reservations for tea and scones. What a disappointment . The tea was so weak it has no flavor. It is fortunate that we did not use milk or sugar as neither was offered The scone was in reality a blubbery muffin served with lemon curd which was the only good thing about this adventure . I will not return or suggest this tea room to others.

After reading the reviews from the others, I wonder if I was at the same tea room! Our experience was not good. While they were friendly, the food was bland with little to no flavor. Our scone was a plan scone with absolutely no flavor, like eating flour and water. Our soup was not very good and even though the owner raved about how good their creme brule was, it was not a true creme brule and I couldn't even eat it, and trust me, I eat anything. The other 3 ladies and I go to a LOT of teas and this is at the bottom of our list and will never return. To add to this, we went 3 weeks before Christmas expecting it to be decorated for the holiday, and while the town of Lititz was, the tea room was not! We couldn't have been more disappointed.

Another excellent get-together of our Downton Abbey group. We had the Garden Tea which consisted of soup (for me Creamy Broccoli), chicken salad, cucumber and BLT sandwiches, lime meringue cookie, decadent chocoate torte cake and a rasperry scone. Everything was delicious - our sever was quite enthusastic and sweet and the owner stopped by several times to ensure we were having a nice time. The tea room atmosphere was bright and cheery and there was a great selection of teas at the shop. Definitely will go back.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon at A Tea Affair. From the tasty assortment of tea treats to the pristine look of the tea room, to shopping in the gift shop, we had a great time! We shared photos on our blog, Rosemary's Sampler: http://bit.ly/19dYj4I

Recently visited A Tea Affair and what a lovely surprise. Great selection, and quality of teas. Unfortunately we didn't know the tea room was open, but next year during my visit from Michigan to friends in this quaint area......we'll certainly be there for a high tea! Wonderful gift ideas and honest, helpful workers. Was a joy being there

Just had my first High Tea with A Tea Affair ... was so nice! Had a group of 9 of my friends and I go. Everyone had so much fun, and just had to get their fix of tea from the shop! I'm so impressed with the selection of loose leaf teas, and tea accessories! The tea room is absolutely beautiful and the food was great!! Everyone who works there is very friendly! Will definitely be coming back soon!! Thanks to everyone who helped with the High Tea today!! :-)
