Harney & Sons SoHo
Whenever I find myself with down time in New York City I tend to drift to three places, one of which is Harney and Sons! The level of knowledge here is outstanding and they always have something new for me whenever I visit!

Strathmore Tea Room
My parents love being invited to play for the teas here because they get to be a part of the action! The light sandwiches and desserts that are served here are great but the star of the show is the professionalism of the staff and the choice of teas available!

GRAPE + BEAN
This place focuses more on Wine, beer and coffee but still has a good selection of teas for us who can't imbibe or have caffeine! The food here is great but don't expect any traditional tea ceremony service here.

Ritz Carlton Pentagon City
The tea area of the hotel is small with one of the best selections of tea I've ever seen in a hotel setting! some of the staff are knowledgeable enough to know the differences between Earl Grey and Chai but don't expect to ask about specific tea terroirs in India.

Ching Ching Cha
This place mostly focuses on Chinese teas but has some variations. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and educational. I typically go for Arabic and English teas so it was a nice change of pace!
