Calabash Garden Tea Room
The 'Tea Room' experience was something fun and different for me. I very much enjoyed dressing up with a fancy hat and I think this was the highlight of the afternoon. The food was excellent, and as a person who generally does not drink tea, very much enjoyed the Queen Catherine' variety. I also had the pleasure of trying the Tomato Bisque soup and it was the best I've ever had! The portions are not very large, but appropriate and artfully prepared. I would definitely return for a visit. My only complaint was that while the staff was very sweet and friendly, they did not dress the part. I would have liked to see them in Sunday's finest with a hat to match to complete the ambiance.
