Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter II
I've been to Alice's (all three Chapters) a number of times. This review was just for yesterday. We were seated straightaway, and the staff were really friendly. I tried a tea cocktail there finally, and it was out of this world. It was a Mojito with Moroccan Mint tea. If you're in a tea cocktail mood, definitely give this place a try.

Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter III
Chapter III feels slightly more adult than the first two, but it's really for everyone. It's an easy walk from the Met(ropolitan Museum of Art), which makes for the perfect day out, even in bad weather. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the artwork in the tearoom was pleasant - yet another take on the Alice theme. If I were to give any criticism it would be that the water was not quite cold enough and the tea was not quite hot enough. That is easily rectified, though and only happened once.

Himalaya Teahouse
They've added to the menu, and so far everything I've tried has been fantastic. Quality tea in Astoria is a rarity, so I hope Himalaya stays a long time.

Serenity Garden Tea House
Lovely tea house with friendly and comfortable service. Loved the soup before afternoon tea, and the availability of clotted cream and lemon curd was perfect. A perfect place to sit and relax- we spent over an hour there. Would certainly recommend for a cozy Victorian type afternoon tea.

Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter I
I live closer to Chapter II, but the West Side is so much better! The staff is friendlier, more conversational, the wait is a bit long but you don't feel like a criminal for not making reservations. I had such a good time during my last visit. The scones are exquisite!
