I collect teas from all over the world and always enjoy coming here, because of the wonderful choices of all types of tea - oolongs, white, green etc. this is not just a typical tea room with limited choices of teas. Also, the owner understands the importance of serving hot pots, not tepid pots of tea. The food is excellent and not skimpy, so large eaters and men will not feel deprived. The ambiance of silver, white linen tablecloth, beautiful antique white napkins and sterling silver along with a magnificent view make it one of the best places in the Southeast for tea and I've tried over 150 tea rooms in the US over the past 20 years, many I would not return to, but this one is something special! I live in Charleston and would go weekly if it were closer. Carolyn Blue
