Queen Mary Tea Room and Restaurant
Our visit to Queen Mary this weekend was tea delightful experience. We have been in before and were somewhat surprised the extremely busy atmosphere. Part of it, we were told is typical for a weekend. And adding to the effervesces was a wedding shower. The four of us ordered the formal afternoon tea which comes with the tea of your choice from a menu that is probably around 60 or 70 different teas. Part way through the meal, the waiter brought samples a new tea that Queen Mary has blended. That was probably the most fun we’ve had as a group. The tea is actually a Rooibos. We had never heard of Rooibos. The waiter generously spent time explaining what Rooibos was and since the tea is brand new, invited us to help pick a name for the blend
