Annie's Cafe/Tea Room & Ice Cream Parlor
We had a lovely luncheon at this tea room. Because our group of nine wanted the high tea we made the reservations in advance. A friendly Annie made us feel like we were having tea in her cozy home. Presentation, preparation, service -- all get five stars. While dining lavishly we did take note of what other patrons were receiving for their lunch choices. Again, everyone seemed to be enjoying their choices from the menu that were served with great presentation. Age range of our group was 20 something and up with everyone agreeing that they would return,

Cornerstone Mansion
Visited this tea room with a couple of friends. We happen to pick a very busy Saturday where every table was filled. Not your usual tea room fare but the lunches were very tasty. The desserts were all homemade and to die for.If I was in the area would try this one again.

The Tea Room on Madison
Excellent! A very warm and charming place. The service was excellent even though they were very busy. And, well, the food and food presentation were fantantic. Their menu, two full pages, isn't your usual tea sandwiches though. They offer a full menu from salads to dinners. I have to admit that because I was impressed with it's charm and the friendliness of the staff that I was prepared for a one-star lunch. I was wrong -- the food was excellent and my friends agreed. And, their fresh-baked berry scones are to die for! We had a delightful time and are looking forward to going back very soon. I've been to most of the tearooms in the Chicago area and wouldn't hesitate to drive to this one again.
