Sweet Remembrances
Got to have our second tea of the year at Sweet Remembrances. Had a fun class the night before with Nancy's sister, Susanna at The Rosemary House. My friend, Bonnie and I always look forward to our visit with Nancy at Sweet Remembrances. The tearoom has a lovely calming atmosphere and the food is just perfect. I surprised Bonnie because it was her birthday and Nancy surprised her with a special birthday teacup to use during her visit and a tiny birthday cake that she shared with her husband because I can't eat chocolate. Nancy always starts with a special salad or soup and this visit was a broccoli cheddar soup with a bacon topping! She used organic broccoli from a local farm. It was delicious and what isn't better with a bit of bacon! Then of course we had our choice of many teas and Nancy's bottomless pots. The tea tray appeared with out of the oven scones, traditional cream and pumpkin spice. Those were the first to be enjoyed. Then she had an amazing array of tea sandwiches stuffed with delicious fillings and made with interesting breads. There was so much food that dessert was transported home and shared with our husbands. The tearoom is very quaint with Nancy's collection of teacups, pots and tea accessories from places around the world. I uploaded a group of photos from this visit for your pleasure and if you are in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area, Nancy Reppert's Sweet Remembrances tearoom is not to be missed! Looking forward to our next visit!

AntiquiTea
We have been waiting almost two years to have tea and it was worth the wait! Patty and Nicole have a gem of a tearoom and gift shop. My husband and I had a delicious afternoon tea to celebrate Valentine's Day. It is comparable to the best English afternoon tea. We will see you again soon!
