Got to have our second tea of the year at Sweet Remembrances. Had a fun class the night before with Nancy's sister, Susanna at The Rosemary House. My friend, Bonnie and I always look forward to our visit with Nancy at Sweet Remembrances. The tearoom has a lovely calming atmosphere and the food is just perfect. I surprised Bonnie because it was her birthday and Nancy surprised her with a special birthday teacup to use during her visit and a tiny birthday cake that she shared with her husband because I can't eat chocolate. Nancy always starts with a special salad or soup and this visit was a broccoli cheddar soup with a bacon topping! She used organic broccoli from a local farm. It was delicious and what isn't better with a bit of bacon! Then of course we had our choice of many teas and Nancy's bottomless pots. The tea tray appeared with out of the oven scones, traditional cream and pumpkin spice. Those were the first to be enjoyed. Then she had an amazing array of tea sandwiches stuffed with delicious fillings and made with interesting breads. There was so much food that dessert was transported home and shared with our husbands. The tearoom is very quaint with Nancy's collection of teacups, pots and tea accessories from places around the world. I uploaded a group of photos from this visit for your pleasure and if you are in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area, Nancy Reppert's Sweet Remembrances tearoom is not to be missed! Looking forward to our next visit!

Enjoyed another wonderful experience at Sweet Remembrances yesterday! I tried a 'new to me' tea (Windsor Castle) from their large tea list. It was a delightful, full bodied black tea. Nancy's food was superb as usual with little hints connected with the theme 'Beauty Secrets'. Alisa Dupuy played the Evil Queen (from 'Snow White') who shared her story and the beauty secrets of women from centuries gone by. Alisa was wonderful and provided 'tongue in cheek' commentary to entertain her audience. She made the hour long presentation fly by! My friend Barbara and I travel more than an hour to get this location and have never been disappointed. We also enjoyed sitting with two tea enthusiast whom we had not met. Good tea, food, entertainment and new tea friends made this a day to savor.

Recently enjoyed tea and scones with my family. Everyone from my 88 year old mother to my 32 year old son had a good time. The owner went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. What a wonderful place to sit back ,relax and enjoy a perfectly brewed cup of tea. The Traditional English Cream Scone that they serve is the best! I especially enjoy it with the lemon Curd. Strolling the gardens after tea is always a treat. You never know what you will find tucked into a corner somewhere. Looking forward to returning again soon!

We recently attended the Queen's Tea. As always, the food was delicious and the service friendly and prompt. The teas are excellent and our pot was always filled. I recommend Nancy's Sweet Remembrance for any occasion. You will not be disappointed. This is how tea should be done.

The First Ladies Tea was delightful! The food was delicious as usual. No one makes a better Cream Scone than Nancy! The Ham Salad Sandwich was outstanding. We all loved the Parmesan Toast. We always appreciate the large selection of teas to choose from.
The Martha Washington interpreter was full of accurate information and artistically portrayed. This tearoom is a step above the rest. Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed an excellent tea once again at Sweet Remembrances today. the service was outstanding, the tea selections were abundant, the food was photographable, fresh warm scones from the oven, and desserts too tempting to say 'I am too full'. You wont be disappointed in any way at Sweet Remembrances. Simply the BEST tea served in our area! I just arrived home from a most satisfying tea experience at Sweet Remembrances. The Snowflake tea was absolutely refreshing, and the salad was amazingly delicious, with the perfect amount of fruit, pecans, fresh greens, and cheese. Following the salad were five types of sandwiches, each being absolutely delectable. Included also, were fresh kiwi , orange slices, and two types of warm scones that melted in my mouth with great delight. The desserts that followed were superb. I am most grateful for Sweet Remembrances. Today's tea was remarkable!

we had the best tea today at Sweet Remembrances, with a wide selection of the best fresh brewed teas, and outstanding delicious tea sandwiches. They are substantial and you wont leave hungry or disappointed. You owe it to yourself to experience this awesome tea room . Truly the most excellent in central PA. Owner Nancy Reppert has won awards for her outstanding food and recipes are available in the tea shop next door , which is a fun place to shop!

A happy customer
Recently attended the 'Elegant Afternoon Tea' served on festive holiday plates with coordinated tea cups. We started with a delicious a salad, followed by a tea tray laden with afternoon tea sandwiches, oven fresh scones with assorted toppings, fresh fruit, and miniature desserts. The desserts were all unique, yummy and very festive. The tea tray was accompanied by a bottomless pot of properly brewed tea - my choice was the Snowflake tea! The Candlelight Tea at the end of December sounds wonderful!

Don't walk to Mechanicsburg's Sweet Remembrances Tea Room, RUN TO IT. Proprietress Nancy does simply one of the best Wednesday afternoon tea's I have ever had. The tea sandwiches delightful and tasty. Hot scones right-of-the-oven are to die for. The desserts over-the-top and Her attention to detail is something to behold. Oh, did I mention a bottomless pot of tea? and the best part to that.. is you are welcomed to change and try many varieties of brewed-to-perfection tea.( Out of the amazing list of black, green and/or herbal teas to try, My favorite was Blue Lady which was a black tea base with strawberry, Kiwi, coconut cream and blue flowers). The tea room itself is decorated with Tea collectibles, tea pots and everything you can possibility think about in the tea world. The wait staff was very pleasant and described what was being served which I found that very helpful. I also found out on a second trip, that if you don't care to park your car on South Market street /Route 114..that there is adequate parking in the back, plus it is fun to walk through the herb gardens- see what is blooming and see some garden cats napping in catnip/too cute. Lastly: Pennsylvania' oldest Herb store, The Rosemary House is right beside the Sweet Remembrances tea room. I highly recommend that you spend the afternoon. Bring a friend or two.... It is so worth the trip. THANKS Nancy. Loved my visit(s) and will be back....I am going to check out your catalog for your special events involving teas and come again for something extra special.

A Sweet Remembrances Tea Room fan
I attended the Queen's tea with my wife. The food was really good and I liked the bottomless perfectly brewed pots of tea. I do not eat nuts and appreciated Nancy serving me a 'nut free' menu. It was good to see some other men enjoying the tea also. Picked up some herb plants for my garden at The Rosemary House next door. The Halloween Garlic dinner in October sounds like a winner.

Recently attended the Presidential Tea on the Sunday prior to Election Day. The event was both delicious and informative. The first person historical theater interpreter was delightful. Olde Towne Tavern Raspberry Shrub Spritzer was a refreshing and colorful way to start the party. No matter how many times I attend events at Sweet Remembrances there is always a clever surprise. The Cheery Cherry Cakette paid homage to the old tale of George Washington and the cherry tree. Fabulous!

One of the best tea rooms i have ever been to! My mom and i visited this past Wednesday...7/18/2012 I can't say enough about the scones and the service. Everything was top notch and first class. It was the best way to spend an afternoon. Thank you so much for making it such a wonderful experience!

Totally enjoyed the Titanic tea. There was a choice of all types of teas to choose from. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared and pertained to the subject of the tea The anniversary of the Titanic disaster. The after tea presentation was excellently performed in character and with a great knowledge of the disaster. Will definitely return for future teas.

Each time I go, I find a new favorite tea. The tea is brewed fresh and brought to your table in beautiful china tea pots. The scones are unbelievable and they melt in your mouth, as are the tea sandwiches and other goodies. Normally I end up taking my dessert home with me as I drink so much of the tea.
We recently had a baby shower here. It was a memorable experience. I would highly recommend it.

Great tea room! The high tea food was absolutely delicious, there was a great selection of teas, and it's lovely how each person gets their own individual tea pot. The decor and ambiance is wonderful, and the service is superb. I traveled a long way to visit this tea room, and I will definitely be returning!

We had such a wonderful time at the Victorian fashion tea! The variety of the food and the presentation was over the top. Not to mention how wonderful everything tasted. I especially enjoyed having a menu for our meal. That was a nice touch. Lisa did a wonderful talk with her clothing. Thank you for a truly outstanding tea! You made a lovely memory for four generations of my family.

Sweet Remembrances has the best scones. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon sipping tea and eating scones with served with Lemon Curd. With The Rosemary House right next door I can also stock up on Roastmary and Mayor's Magic Mustard Mix on the same trip to Mechanicsburg. Perfect!

I love the use of fresh herbs in the dishes. What a difference they make. I was a little nervous about eating flowers at first. My favorite is Nasturtiums. They are wonderful in Nancy's special salads. The tea list the day I was there was extensive and varied. Leaving the tea cosy off the pot was a clever, yet subtle way, for us to signal that we are ready for another pot of tea! I highly recommend this place.

What a charming tea room. I love looking at all the different tea cups and pots. The tree in the garden with tea pots and cups hanging in it is so clever. The food in this tea room was so pretty. Each plate was a work of art. Everything was delicious. The chocolate truffles were may favorite. I had never had a rose petal sandwich before. How festive! Thank you Nancy for a lovely afternoon. I will back as often as I can for more of your 'goodies' and a proper pot of tea!

Every trip to Sweet Remembrances is better than the last. I love the collections of memorabilia that are artistically displayed throughout the tearoom and enjoy perusing them while waiting for the scrumptious delights to come.
The settings are beautiful, different cups and saucers, each one clearly sought out individually, or gifted to the owner on some special occasion. That makes it feel like such a special event.
Every dish hits the mark, and Nancy creates some beautiful presentations. My favorites always run to the sweeter side, so if you get the chance to try the strawberries with pistachio nuts and marscapone, do not turn it down!

I have visited tearooms all over the world and I have to say that Sweet Remembrances remains my absolute fvorite. The Afternoon Teas there are always so well prepared and eerything is so very nicely presented. The place is spotless as well. The adjoining gardens are lovely at any time of the year and are decorated amusingly for particular holidays. I also have to note that my Husband (a former Marine) enjoys the quality and quatity of the food they serve very much and always insists on going with me to various theme teas throughout the year!

Sweet Remembrances is my favorite tea room. From the wondeful, welcoming atmosphere, the many varieties of tea, sandwiches, and desserts, to the personal attention Nancy displays to all her guests this place is top-notch. Attending an event at Sweet Remembrances is always a favorable occassion that goes way beyond my expectations.

Sweet Remembrances is an exceptional tea room -- well worth visiting and one I highly recommend. The owner, Nancy Reppert, is gracious, tremendously creative, and an amazingly talented food artist. Her knowledge of tea is exceptional, and the food prepared and served in this tea room is beautiful, fresh, and delicous. The theme events hosted at this tea room are WELL worth attending -- well thought out, attention given to every detail, and an absolute joy to attend! If you have time to visit only one tea room this year, I recommend that you make it Sweet Remembrances.

This review focuses on their service. I am forced to rate the others with an average because I did not get to try them.
I selected this location for a party because of it's good reviews and what seemed like an outgoing, creative staff.
Instead, I was insulted through e-mail. While Nancy seemed willing enough to customize the menu for my dietary needs at first, I was abruptly cut off from conversing with her further by a two sentence e-mail suddenly claiming she 'could not met my needs'.
This may be a wonderful place to have an afternoon tea, but it doesn't look I'll get a chance now. It seems like such a nice place, too.

I visited this tea room for their annual Fairy Festival with my Mother, Grandmother and Daughter. We had such a nice time. The food was so good. It was very clear that Nancy spend alot on time and energy on the menu. I loved the Bagged Fairy lunch for my Daughter and she did too! So sweet and clever. My favorite was the roast beef on an onion roll. The after tea mints were actual mint leaves sugared, very creative! We can not wait to go again.

We have been going to tea at Sweet Remembrances for years now and just love it! The tearoom is wonderfully decorated, the service is perfect and the food not only tastes terrific but looks lovely too. They have a number of special events and theme teas throughout the year and we drive all the way from Wilmington DE to Mechanicsburg to attend as many of them as we can.

We traveled from Ohio for this tea and were so glad we did he setting was so beautiful and the tea selection delicious and oustanding. The scones are to die for the best I have ever had. The variety of savories, scones and desserts all compliment and enhance the flavors of each other. Strongly recommend you make a special trip. The herb shop next door also has plenty of Tea items as well as being very unique and the garden delightful.
