Moffat's Gaelic Dish
Cute little tea cottage. However, I was visiting my daughter, she brought me here with my friend, the atmosphere was uncomfortable because it was hot inside. And, we had to keep asking for refills on our tea. Cramped atmosphere because it is so small inside and tables are squished into a small space. Food was delicious, would like to see improvement on service and atmosphere.
Tearoom response:
Thank you, Mary, for giving your review. I remember your table and am so sorry you were warm that day. We did have to shut off the ceiling fan, because some guests were a bit chilled from it, but we have never had a concern about it being warm inside, including when we have parties of 20 in for showers, etc. As for service, I believe the wait staff thought you were finished with 'hot' tea when you requested ice water for your beverage...a simple mistake. As for feeling 'sqiushed' had we known your particular circumstances, in advance, we could have seated you at a different table location. Thank you for your time and have a Happy New Year.
