Tea House on Los Rios
I didn't realize that just across the tracks from the train depot there was such a delightful tea house. I like to treat myself to the Victorian tea which I suppose is the English version of a high tea. I have the Private Reserve tea which is loose leaf and very flavorful. The creamy tomato with fresh basil is to die for and the selection of tea sandwiches is fresh and delectable. I am enchanted with the character of the street and the charm of its homes and residents. I return for the food, the ambiance and the attentiveness of the staff.
