Dori's Tea Cottage
Love it! What a pleasant treat--my knitting group has made this a regular stop on our annual retreat. I love starting with the Wedding Tea--served in a large pot, the combination of vanilla with just a hint of rose petals, this white tea is delicate on the palate and doubles as aromatherapy. Paris is a close second... Shortly thereafter, an array of ladylike noshes arrive, including an amazing raspberry-vanilla scone, which was oddly reminiscent of Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries! A nod is due the chicken salad, of which I could have eaten an entire bowl, as well as the chocolate butter pecan cake. Everything is very flavorful and rich. Of course, the proprietors are very attentive. A terrific place to spend a leisurely afternoon, best enjoyed with a group of friends.
