• The Front Porch Tea Room

  I've been here several times. The tea sandwiches, although still tasty, have shrunk markedly in size - and so have the scones, etc.The atmosphere is very nice and the people are friendly.

  Thank you so much for your comments. The size of my sandwich has not changed. I have noticed that the dimensions of the loaf of bread has changed not in number of slices but overall size. We still give everyone the equivalent of one full sandwich. Regarding the size of our scones, we still get 20 scones out of every batch and give each persons 2 different scones. Maybe you have been used to one large scone served elsewhere versus two scones at the Front Porch. I generally hear from my customers that they are too full to even finish their dessert, and most take it home. I do hope that you will try us again and we will do our best to do a good job.
