Top Hat Special-Teas
This tiny tea room definately is special. We loved it. They have a variety of unique tea blends, such as the Roadkill tea. There no food we didn't like and you will leave full. You will also leave with a smile on your face. The staff, especially the owner, are cheerful and willing to answer any questions. The decorum is unique and enhances the atmosphere. We will visit this tea room again and recomend others visit as well.

Calabash Garden Tea Room
My family and I went to the Calabash Tea Room expecting to be amazed based because of their ranking. However, we were extremely disappointed. The food was only average and the atmosphere was severly lacking. We have visted many tea rooms, most ranked lower on tea map, but all of them out ranked this tea room. We will neither go back nor recomend this tea room to anyone.

Laurie, It is very disappointing to us as well, to find that you were not happy with your experience at our little tea room We have worked very hard for the last six years to earn our high marks. We wish that you would have mentioned your disappointment while you were visiting us. We don't want people to leave unhappy and no one usually does so we would have been happy to remedy the situation.
Our atmosphere is one of an outdoor garden and may not be appealing to everyone. Our food is highly regarded and we pride ourselves on having unique and different flavors. Of course everyone has their own preferences. We're sorry you did not enjoy your experience.
