British Pantry
I moved to Maryland and I will miss this tearoom. The owner and staff are always welcoming and have accommodated me for tea on short notice. While there isn't a wide selection of teas to choose from for afternoon tea, the tea brewed is excellent. The food is prepared fresh, the scones and REAL clotted cream is a true treat. Many tea rooms advertise clotted cream but it's not real. I recommend the seasonal afternoon tea offered they are wonderful. Thank you for many incredible and relaxing tea memories! Laleh

Tea On The Tiber
The service and decor was wonderful. The server explained how long to steep the tea and to take the tea bag out, which is helpful if someone doesn't regularly drink tea. The food came immediately and was served on a pretty tiered tray. The scone, was delicious however, the cream is not clotted cream, real clotted cream is thick and dense this was more like whipped cream. The oreo cake and shortbread cookie was delicious. I really enjoyed the fruit and cheese as a palette cleanser. My one wish is that there was more of a selection of sandwiches and savories. There were only two small sandwiches tomato and cucumber, a tiny savory strawberry tart, and small bite of salmon mixture on bread. I left hungry for more than just dessert. If dessert is mostly what you like then you will be satisfied. I think for the price the shoppers tea would have been better.

Moulin de Paris
The service, salad, shrimp cocktail and soup were great, however everything wasn't. I don't go enjoy afternoon tea to get soup and salad even though its a bonus. I go to relax, have a nice cup of tea, and enjoy scones savories and desserts I don't have time to make at home. That being said The scone was too sweet and tasted store bought. It was served with a butter cream used for cupcakes and cake not devon cream as stated on the website, there is difference. The savories, and sandwiches left me wanting more. The desert selection was decent. Overall I would not recommend this afternoon tea for the price.

Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
I have lived all over the country and seek out tea rooms where ever I live. I moved to Virginia a year and half ago and have been searching for a tea room. I have been to several in Virginia and Maryland and this tea shop is a dream come true and huge blessing! From the minute you walk in the door the smell of tea and fresh baked goods greets your senses. Blanche and the other woman made me feel right at home. Everything was perfect, the decor was beautiful, the food spectacular, the tea amazing. The food is made from scratch and are items you can't easily make at home. The scones were light, buttery, melt in your mouth, warm and served with yummy choices of jams, and cream. The tea was steeped perfectly and I love that you can try different teas after you finish your first pot. Don't waste your time and money going to any other tea shop this place is worth any drive.

Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter I
This place is amazing! I was only in New York for a day had to have tea, of course. Everything was perfect the tea selection is vast, I ordered the Alice's tea blend, and also the Boston Tea, and enjoyed both. I also ordered the Mad Hatter and was not disappointed. There was so much food two huge delicious scones, six sandwiches. I tried the chicken curry, and egg salad, and both were wonderful. There was also cookies, and I chose the lemon tart. I had plenty of left overs, and the price was great for what you received. I can't wait to go again when I return to New York.

Teavolve Cafe & Lounge
I called for directions and the person who answered was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived someone greeted me and gave me menus to look at. Shortly after, a server named Megan came over with a huge smile and asked me if I was ready to order or if I had questions about the menu. There was a large variety of tea and food items. I was ready and when I ordered my tea she asked if I cared for milk, cream, skim etc. I also ordered a scone and she asked if I wanted it warm. She was very helpful and attentive. The pot of tea arrived with the loose tea leaves in a strainer inside the pot, my milk, a dish for the strainer, and scone. She also offered to get me more hot water if I needed it. I was very impressed with the tea, scone, atmosphere, and service of this place. I spoke with the owner and she was very warm and friendly. I will absolutely return to the place, and encourage everyone to try it out.
