Calabash Garden Tea Room
I am a 'local' and this was my third visit to this charming tea room. The Calabash Garden Tea Room is the perfect place to get away from the busy world and relax in an atmosphere of quiet music, enjoy an excellent variety of teas (I had the Coconut Almond - wonderful), and savor the delicious food. The strawberry soup was a unique surprise and their scones are to die for. I love all the things that make up this 'tea' - the unique tea pots, lemon squeezers, handkerchief napkins, mixed cups/saucers/plates to the hats and boas you are invited to wear during tea. Kathy, the owner, has done everything to make you feel pampered and special. The service is very good, but not rushed or intrusive, and the teas and food, well they are delightfully delicious! I highly recommend this charming and whimsical tea room!
