The Front Porch Tea Room
Having been to many tearooms in southcentral PA, I did not have any expectations except good food and pleasant atmosphere. The Front Porch Tea room certainly provided that. While the decor/table settings were traditinal/formal, we were quite comfortable in our more casual attire and were not bombarded with excess conversation. The food was excellent, I especially enjoyed the cold cherry soup. It was nice to have a light/hardy option in both the soups and the dessert as my friend and I could then taste both. The outside landscape was beautiful - making me wish I lived closer and could come to one of the Thursday evening events. The only thing that could be a negative for some people is the lack of tea variety. There were two choices but both were quite good.

Thank you so much for your very lovely review. I am so glad you enjoyed your time with us. In reply to the variety of teas, when we have a very busy day (50 - 100 people) we always offer 2 teas, however we have over 70 teas in the kitchen and would be most happy to prepare any other tea for you. I do hope you return and please ask for the tea list. Thanks again,
