Moffat's Gaelic Dish
I visited this tearoom with some friends and was disappointed. While the tea itself was wonderful and the food was good, the service and ambiance was lacking. In order to visit the ladies room, you have to walk through the kitchen, making it less than appealing. The service was hurried and we felt that we were being rushed. I've been to other tea houses and never felt like I wasn't welcome to stay a reasonable length of time. The saving grace was the tea and food. I'm sure that the owner will respond to this and somehow blame me for my complaint, but that's ok. Probably won't be returning.
Tearoom response:
Hi Kate...you were right I am the owner and I am responding to your review. I do believe, however, that you have my tearoom confused with another. You do not have to go through our kitchen to get to the ladies room. Our kitchen is at the far end of the building and the bathroom it at the other end of the building between the gift shop and the tearoom...you can see why I am a little confused...by the way, what day did you visit with us?
