Virtuous Teas
I had high hopes for this local tea room. I found the food quality lacking and once my scone was preheated in the microwave which made it rubbery. I found the owner overbearing.

I have had tea here many times and it has always been excellent. It is a charming shop and the afternoon tea is all is should be.

The Tea Leaf
I gave this shop a second chance after a first bad experience. I will never return. The food was below par and the owner was rude! She thought she knew it all and told us so. Once we were done eatting she came out and without introducing herself she told us we had eaten incorrectly! We didn't complain but we couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough. We are both very experienced afternoon tea women and this was one of the worst experiences.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience at The Tea Leaf. As I read your review, I noticed that you stated that 'the owner was rude' and 'thought she knew it all' and that 'she came out and without introducing herself...' so if 'the owner' didn't introduce herself, how did you know she was the owner? This review sounds very odd to me.
