Moffat's Gaelic Dish
** This is a must do! ** Don't let the quaint exterior fool you, because this tea service will exceed your expectations. I purchased $60 for $30 High Tea for 2 on Groupon, which was accepted without question. Our server Barbara welcomed us with 2 mimosas and our choice of hot tea (Jasmine tea was very good!). Next was the seasonal soup (crab bisque-excellent!) and a savory mini spinach quiche. This was followed by a 3-tiered plate which included assorted tea sandwiches, the most delicious chocolate scones and banana bread and a top tier filled with chocolate covered strawberries, cream puffs and mini blackberry tarts. Everything was flavorful and yummy! Barbara was a very attentive server and explained all the courses, ingredients and differences between tea offerings. Setting is cheerful, yet intimate and a reservation is a MUST. The owner (and chef-I believe) Ailean is a hoot and not only welcomed us guests but talked with us, as if we were old friends. When making your reservation let Ailean know if you have special dietary restrictions-and she will do her absolute best to accommodate you. I will definitely be back and this will be a reliable go-to when family and friends visit. I highly recommend Moffat's Cup of Tea in Dunedin, FL
