DarTealing Lounge
I love, love, love this tea house! Food was amazing as well as the selection of tea. So happy to find this place. They were friendly, accomodating & they have a nail salon right next door owned by the same people. It's a great place for a girls' day, a date or just to eat. Will definitely come back.

Captain's Cottage
I have been here a few times & it is always a wonderful experience. The variety of tea, the quality of the food & the employees are terrific. I love the different themed rooms it offers as well.

The English Rose Tea Room and Gifts
I have enjoyed several tea houses throughout California. This by far was unfortunately the WORST tea house. My expectations after reading all the great reviews was severly disappointing. On Saturdays, you are required to order their Queen's tea for $26. Their presentation was a mess; the tiers were not organized by savory, sandwiches & sweets. Rather, it was strewn about the trays. The scone was horrible - it looked & tasted like a biscuit. Finger sandwiches were a joke - bread with a swipe of 'filling'. The sweets tasted horrible as though they were purchased at a grocery store, taken out of package, and placed on the tray. I took one bite and stopped. Very, very disappointing. Their tea was good as well as the variety offered. Their employees were very curteous as well. Ambiance overall was overwhelmingly embellished; definitely sexist in that it is aimed towards women & girls only. Do yourself a favor: use the money you plan to spend here & have a fabulous lunch in one of the many other great restaurants downtown Pleasanton has to offer.

Dori's Tea Cottage
So happy we found this tea house during our Labor Day weekend in Groveland! Huge tea selection, cozy ambiance and delicious food! We'll definitly be back to Dori's Tea Cottage our next time at Pine Mountain Lake :)
