Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique
My friend and I love going to tea to celebrate special occasions and we are always looking for a new tea room. This time we were celebrating my birthday. We both were very disappointed. It is a lovely victorian decoration with beautiful table settings. Barbara is a very friendly and sweet hostess, but too busy for excellent service. The first disappointment was all three pots of tea were over steeped, coming to the table black as coffee and bitter. Our salad would have been delicious if it were not swimming in the dressing. Our sandwiches were all on crossiants, and again way too much dressing/spread. We had so hoped to find this tea room suitable, because it is just around the corner from my friend's residence. Barbara shorten the steeping time, use less dressing and I will try again.

The AubreyRose Tea Room
My friend and I treated ourselves to a weekend get away and of course 'Going to Tea'. The Aubrey Rose is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed our table being in a private corner. We were warmly greeted with gracious service and smiles. The Queen Victoria Tea was delicious, beautifully presented in detail, and most filling. Our entire expierence was beyond our expectations. We look forward to our next visit.
