Moffat's Gaelic Dish
A good friend took me here for my birthday. I highly recommend this tea house. We started with mimosas and raspberry hot tea which was delicious. Then we had crab bisque-which was some of the best crab bisque I have ever had. Next they served an individual spinach quiche with a homemade crust to die for. Then they gave us chicken salad on a croissant with cranberries. This was my favorite. Also other tea sandwiches, scones, banana bread, chocolate covered strawberries etc. The food was more than enough. As a matter of fact we even took some home because we were so full. It was all more delicious than the next. And you could tell that everything was made fresh. The owner Ailean who came out to greet us was very personable and told us stories about her hometown. Very enjoyable lunch. I’ve already bought a groupon so that I can take my Aunt there. I know she will love it. Please be aware that they have moved locations so the picture is not really a picture of the restaurant. It is actually behind a Scottish restaurant that is also part of the Tea House. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a girl’s lunch, brunch, baby shower, bridal shower etc. You won’t be disappointed.
