I came here with a large group; the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very cozy.
We had their largest tea service, which was quite a bit of food (fruit, finger sandwiches, scones, and a pastry assortment) at a very reasonable price, and all delicious. They offered a wide range of different teas; I had the "pot o' gold" rooibos blend.

We had an enjoyable afternoon in this tea room that is really quite convenient for those of us who live in the Virginia suburbs. The food, tea, and service were excellent. The menu is varied so you can easily include those that may prefer coffee and more of a lunch.

After taking our eight year old grand daughter Melanie to get her nails and toes done, we took her to Crest Hill for her first tea. It was absolutely wonderful. The food, tea, and lemonade were superbly presented and delicious. Pop Pop, Melanie and I ate every bite! We also appreciated great service and we were not rushed. We will go again and will include another grand child.

The Crest Hill is a charming little tea room in the middle of a lovely antique shop, tucked away in a little corner of The Plains. I take friends and visiting relatives here when we're looking for a special afternoon get-away. Tea offerings are presented in little canisters on trays, the sandwiches are fresh and plentiful. The home made sweets are served alongside fresh fruit and the service is attentive and welcoming. Definitely worth the drive from Herndon. Coupled with a visit to nearby Middleburg, it makes for a really nice afternoon.

I truly enjoy this quaint tea room located at The Plains. You will be pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of delicately blended teas from a local vender. The food is delicious. My favorite is their curry chicken salad, and the antique shop attached has great little finds at a reasonable price. The Lady who owns it is always willing to accommodate her customer's questions and requests. I have visited this tea room many times, and have been pleased every time. A great place to gather with friends.

I discovered this little tea room simply by chance and knew I had to make a reservation. It did not disappoint! The tiny tea room was extremely charming with its eye-catching antiques and intimiate atmosphere. My friends and I tried a variety of teas and they were all very flavorful and delicious (I also bought a bag of their Diamond Jubilee tea to try at home and it's wonderful as well). Their clotted cream was an out-of-this-world cherry on top of the cake! I'll be back again for sure.

This charming little salon, tucked behind eye-catching antiques displays, is a lovely light-filled little room, yellow w/white trim, and a bright bay window. Tea is introduced via small sample cannisters offering a wide selection of whole leaf teas. The Full Monty Tea boasts very generous portions of sweets & savories. The sandwiches are made with quality bread, real ham/cheese and crisp cucumbers, all fresh. The scones were the best, rivaled only by the cookies and the moist, light cake. Try the lemon curd w/your clotted cream. Top tier was fresh cut fruit, pear and apple. My friend's daughter was delighted (twice) with her elaborate hot chocolate. All very reasonably priced. If you're celebrating a special occasion, or just want to take tea in a quiet space w/your book, then pamper yourself w/a visit to Hill Crest.

My first visit to Crest Hill Tea Room was for their holiday tea/lunch. The offerngs were plentiful, the preparation was eye appealing, the service was friendly and very accommodating. I have never been to a tea room where I actually had to take the extras home because I could not eat it all.
I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to others.
Nice job, ladies.

Crest Hill Antiques is wonderful place--not only the tea room, but the shop, too. The tea room is a good place to sit a relax a while. Great tea choices, and I thought the food was good! The scones, the sandwiches, all of it.
I will definitely go back to the tea room (to try those new sandwiches), and also to check out the other shops in The Plains for some holiday shopping.

I visited Crest Hill Antiques and Tea Room last month with two friends. We were promptly seated and given out tea selection menus which is quite extensive. After much deliberation we made our selections of teas to be brewed. dAfter our hot tea arrived we were served our tea tray with the scones, savories and sweets. The scones and sweets were excellent but the sandwiches left a lot to be desired. This is the second time I have visited and found the sandwiches to be less than desirable. The service and atmosphere was excellent. What a shame that the savories are less than memorable. I will not return with any guests in the future.

Sally, the hostess/proprietress seemed to have been waiting for my arrival. I had emailed her approximately 2:00 a.m., Sunday morning letting her know that I was browsing the internet and came across her site. I asked if I could take tea at her establishment that afternoon. Sally, called me approximately 10:00 a.m., and stated that I was welcomed. Upon my arrival I was seated immediately and my tea menu given to me promptly. Within five minutes I was served Sally's Blend (loose leaf) tea that had been steeped to my satisfaction. Within ten minutes my tea sandwich tier arrived laden with tea treats, a scone with clotted cream and lemon curd (liberal serving), fruit in season ,(pickles, carrots and celery, which I prefer not don my tea tray) and several home made desserts.
Taking tea at this tea room is affordable and the portions generous. MY PERSONAL PET PEEVES: When I take tea at tea rooms, parlors and/or salons I expect linen napkins, tablecloth and proper tea implements. I want my tea experience to be a special occasion.

I recently visited Crest Hill Antiques and Tea Room with my sorority sisters for Mother's Day Tea. What a treat!! The shop is lovely and the tea room cozy and beautifully decorated. The variety of tea was quite impressive and we all enjoyed being able to smell the different loose teas in the cannisters before settling on our choices. We enjoyed the tea sandwiches but we were truly impressed when the fresh fruit, scones (amazing!) and desserts arrived! Everything was fresh and moist and absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful experience - we were never rushed and the service was fabulous - and I will definitely visit again and again - especially when I have time to shop and fully enjoy the antiques as well.

I've been to this quaint, soothing tearoom several times and have yet to be disappointed! It is charming and cozy. Tea selection here is excellent, they bring a tray with small canisters of tea leaves for you to smell and choose from. One expects delicate, delicious food and it certainly is the case here. Everything was fresh, well prepared and scrumptious. The scones and petite desserts in particular were fabulously tasty, so fresh and full of flavor. Actually, they were so delicious that we bought extra scones and cookies to take home with us. What a wonderful find this place this, one that we plan to return to for another satisfying afternoon.

I recently visited this delightful tea room to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff went out of their way to create a special experience for my friend's birthday. They served the most delicious tasting scone with birthday candles and a beautiful vase of flowers to take home. The food was amazing and their was a nice variety of tea choices. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tea room and can't wait to return!

My husband and I recently took his Mom to this wonderful tea room the Friday before Mother's Day and I must say the experience made our whole weekend! The service was excellent, as was the food and tea. And the atmosphere was so peaceful and lovely we didn't want to leave! A big thank you for the lovely Victorian Tea!

I recently visited the Crest Hill Tearoom, meeting a friend there to partake in an afternoon tea. It was our hope to spend a long, quiet afternoon conversing while enjoying our tea and goodies. We were not disappointed! The owner, Sally, made us feel so welcomed and served us with just the right amount of attention which left us to visit to our hearts' content. The food and tea served were delicious and the presentation very appealing to the eye and palate. Before we knew it three hours had passed and we surely overstayed our welcome, though Sally didn't seem to mind. I can highly recommend this delightful tearoom and will be returning very soon.

My husband and I have visited this tea room several times. The person serving us (I'm sorry I don't know her name but will find out next visit) was very friendly and hospitable. She made me a nice vegetarian option. The fruit served was especially fresh and the desserts were awesome. It is very quaint. We will definitely be regular visitors. Best in the area!!

We stopped in for an afternoon visit and this place could not have been more accommodating. We had 3 different teas, 3 different sandwiches and lots of yummy pastry! The Bastille Day Sandwich was great, as were the scones. The proprietress was gracious and handled our special requests with ease.
Because the atmosphere was so nice, and the AC just right, we didn't even care that it was 95 degrees outside. Tea in the summer at Crest Hill was perfect.

What a wonderful little gem of a Tea Room! I was so happy to find a new place for tea. My mother-in-law and I were visiting The Plains to do a little shopping at the yarn shop and were happy to find that we could have tea just two doors down. She and I love doing teas together and have agreed that this one ranks the highest. As soon as we ordered our hostess promptly made our sandwiches and the presentations was so nice. We felt welcomed and comfortable and very relaxed. The dessert presentation was wonderful and very generous. The food was the best quality, fresh and delicious. We were pleased also that we did not leave hungry, in fact very full and had to have the delicious pumpkin bread wrapped up for home. I would highly recommend this tea shop to anyone who likes an authentic English Tea, taken in a quaint shop with a friendly hostess who clearly is pasionate about tea. Oh and the scones were to die for!

My friends and I tried this supposedly lovely spot in the quaint village of The Plains. Unfortunatley, we were quite disappointed. The hostess was dressed in sweats and tennis shoes and was quite disheveled. The food was something from Costco. The picture on her site is IT!!! There are three tables in the back of what's supposed to be an antique shop. Such a shame as The Plains is a quaint village. We won't be back

This is a small antique shop with an interesting collection nicely presented and clean. Tea room is in the back - not crowded. Very pleasant service. Loose tea and teabags available. /we shared an assortment of tea sandwiches which were good. The highlight was the scone which was large, light and moist served with Devonshire cream, butter and jam. Wonderful. Very relaxing. Very moderately priced and well worth another visit.

Excellent variety of loose and bagged teas, served with traditional English Tea Room fare. Scones are especially delicious!
The atmosphere is calm and soothing. It's a great place to spend some time while visiting The Plains.

This is a terrific place. Very pretty and comfortable. The owner and staff are warm and friendly. There are many selections of teas to choose (my favorite, Yorkshire Gold, was available) and there is a choice of high-tea or a smaller version. The scones and tea breads were delicious.
To get to the tearoom you must walk through a wonderful antiques shop that has quality items as well as many beautiful teapots and cups.
Plus the town is very cool!
