English Tealeaves
I have been going to Tealeaves since they first opened many years ago and absolutely love it. Rob & Lynne are kind and gracious hosts and have done us all a great service by bringing such a fantastic tea cafe to the south Denver metro area. The ambience is perfect with relaxing music and cushioned chairs that make you feel like you are welcome to stay and enjoy your tea as long as you want. I also appreciate that it doesn't feel like a dollhouse, with doilies and chairs that feel wobbly and like they are about to break. While my 9-year-old daughter might enjoy that type of setting for our special mommy-daughter teas, I much prefer Tealeaves' decor that allows everyone to feel welcome and not at all crowded by other customers. Their scones are to-die-for and have ruined me for every other scone out there! Their breakfast quiches are yummy, as are all of the salads, sandwiches, desserts and soups I've had there (especially their homemade gazpacho!). I also love that they have an equally delicious and extensive gluten-free menu. Their teas are fantastic -- so many to choose from -- and I love how they are always on the lookout for new items to bring to their customers, like tea-based cocktail mixers, teapot warmers, and even their own scone mix for you to buy and make home when you just don't have time to run into the cafe. I also love their special events, like tea tastings and tea & chocolate pairing workshops. I can't say enough about this great tea cafe in the fabulous small town of Parker!
