Pinecone Cottage Tea House
The variety of tea choices was robust (just like the Highland Tay I had from Scotland). From white to green, black to Russian, decaf to tisanes, and more. Unlike a traditional high tea menu, there was soup and a lunch buffet ... but also scones, Devon cream, jam, and a sweets table. The coziness of the tea house was ladylike and fun. An eclectic collection of plates, cups, saucers, flatware and cream/sugar sets dotted each linen-covered table. Rustic chairs were comfortable with pillow cushions and decorative ribbons. Hats and teapots graced the walls. The owner, Pamela, her assistant and her mother were gracious and friendly. In a word, this tea house is 'perfect.' PS: Drivers will find lots of free parking, on the street or in a neighboring lot.
