Gypsy's Tea Room
Had an excellent tea on Saturday. My first visit but definitely not my last. We had the Royal Tea and I felt like I was royalty. Everything was woderful - the tea selection was extensive (took about ten minutes to decide which one I wanted - Honeybush), the food (the salad with grilled vegetables was yummy, as was the scone, soup, sandwiches, and desserts). Really enjoyed the fruit juice/ ginger ale served in a flute ~ a very tasty surprise in the middle of the meal. All the flavors in the courses. complemented without over-powering. There was a nice blend of warm and cool foods. It was a delicious meal. From the setting to the service to the food, it was an afternoon to remember. I highly recommend a visit to Gypsy's if you want an experience and a meal to remember.

Sweet Simplici-Tea
My friend Denise and I just visited Sweet Simplicit-Tea. It was an awesome experience. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel as though we were valued friends and the only people there (all the tables were full) and Robin,Lisa, and the rest of the staff had been waiting for us to visit. The food was delicious, everything complemented the rest of the course but no one taste overpowered another. In my opinion, that is what makes a GREAT tea room (and I have been to many). Everyone was friendly, took time to describe each course, and answer our questions. The selection of available teas was large and included all varieties you could want. At no time while we were there did we feel rushed to finish a course. The food was meant to be savored. I cannot pick a favorite. The cream of potato w/bacon was delicious and left me wanting more, I loved the cinnamon scone, the poppy seed dressing made the salad outstanding, the sandwiches were perfect - sliced egg on pumpernickle w/ tarragon, ham w/slice radish on wheat and shrimp salad on a potato roll and each taste better than the previous one, desserts were fresh fruit, chocolate expresso cake (yum) and a parfait with pistashio cream (wow). The meal ended with a lemon sorbet that was perfect. The meal was called a Royal Tea and it definitely was. This is a place that is not to be missed - it is well worth traveling to to enjoy a Sweet Simplici-Tea enjoyable experience. Look for them in their new location at 7540 Main Street (just up the street from where they are now.)
Tearoom response:
Dear Denise, thank you so much for the wonderful review. Lisa and I are delighted you were able to give us a try on a Saturday afternoon. Tea definitely is an experience and it takes time to enjoy it completely to its fullness. We never like to rush everyone and we truly loved the conversation with you and Bev. Please visit us soon in our new location. It is going to be awesome. Thanks again! Robyn and Lisa

Tea On The Tiber
This was my first time here and I thoroughly enjoy it. Our server was pleasant, informative, and friendly and took excellent care of us. She took time to answer all our questions about the place and the food without ignoring the other groups in the room. The food was delicious. It was hard to pick a favorite sandwich but I really liked the cucumber sandwich and the chicken salad. The fresh fruit at the end added a sweetness without being too heavy after the meal. This is definitely a return to place for me. I felt like I was visiting a good friend not a customer in a busy tea room. Thanks for a enjoyable visit.

Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
I have been to many tea rooms and this was one of the best. Everything on the menu was delicious - especially the butternut squash soup (I don't like squash). It was hard to decide which tea to choose. Everyone was welcoming, I felt more like I was visiting with friends than as a customer. The atmosphere was relaxing, welcoming, and serene. It was definitely worth the long drive and I plan to visit again - often.
