The Tea Trolley
Our group went for the Christmas tea; they offered a special Holiday/Christmas blend tea, a peppermint tea blend and plain black tea. Each were very good; the peppermint tea was an excellent choice with dessert. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The scones and lemon curd were excellent. They had no problem with a Gluten free option and it was excellent. Our gluten-free friend was very pleased with her choice and she stated that all of her food was exceptionally good. Service was very good, even though the place was packed. The overall atmosphere was very Victorian Christmas. They used various china patterns and pots which gave the experience a hint of whimsy. We were downstairs in an open room with other tables, but it was still quiet enough to have a conversation. I love the fact that you could purchase the teas that were offered at your meal. I purchased the Christmas/Holiday tea. You certainly got your money worth here. We can wait to return..very enjoyable & relaxing.
