The Front Porch Tearoom
I really hate to give a bad review, but honestly I can find nothing positive to say about this tearoom. We made a special trip to Perry (a drive of 2 1/2 hours) to visit the tearoom for my birthday. I made a reservation on Monday for full afternoon tea on Friday (and even called back on Tuesday to confirm). When we arrived, apparently there was some sort of mix up with our reservation and we were made to feel as if that was our fault. We talked to 3 different waitresses before they finally understood what we were there for. When we finally got food, it seemed to be something they threw together in a hurry and even the tea was bitter. My husband and I were very disappointed and left there feeling as if we had wasted both our time and money. I would not recommend The Front Porch Tearoom. The tea, food, and service all left alot to be desired.
