Iris & Ivory Tea House, Cafe and Gift Shop
Iris & Ivory has become the 'date night' destination for my husband and me. and reminds me of my favorite tea houses in the UK. We are working our way through the extensive menu of black, green, white and herbal whole leaf teas (Buckingham Palace Garden Party tea is one of my favorites!) The food is freshly and creatively prepared, with a daily soup and quiche in addition to the other menu items. The Afternoon Tea requires advance reservations and is worth it! The presentation is elegant and the flavors are phenomenal! Everything is good value for money -- Dinner for two has consistently been under $30. The cafe's atmosphere is bright and airy. The Iris Room, available for Afternoon Tea and special events, is more formal, but not stodgy. Iris & Ivory is worth the trip!
