What a terrific way to warm up after completing a 10k (6.2mi) Volksmarch Walk in below 30 temperatures! From the time I called to schedule the tea until she hugged me goodbye, Bonnie Hanbury-Calliotte made me feel like a friend, not just a paying customer. From start to finish, the whole experience was terrific -- tasty, homemade food; a flavorful selection of teas; and a congenial, knowledgeable hostess -- not to mention the beautiful venue. It's obvious Bonnie has put a lot of time and effort into researching and perfecting her 'craft.' When I come back, I'll make sure the weather is warmer so I can get in the historic homes tour.
