The House of Commons
I could not be more pleased that this teahouse is just a few miles from my home. Very glad I found it on Adagio’s Tea Map. This is now one of my Sunday rituals. Jessica Avery is the proprietor and she could not be a better hostess. They cater from the casual to the formal tea and have brilliant sandwiches, my personal weakness are the homemade scones (I like them plain with cream and lemon curd). Everyone is welcome in this magnificent gem of a place right in the heart of Denver (It is just a short walk from the end of the 16th street mall, near the new pedestrian bridge on I-25)…if you are in Denver you should give this ‘brilliant’ British Tea Room a try you will not be disappointed.

Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
This tearoom has a beautiful atmosphere, and is a great place to go after a walk when you are in “downtown” Boulder…It does however get a bit crowded and noisy, so it feels a bit like tea room meets Disneyland and the staff is not always as knowledgeable about the teas, thank goodness they have a tea menu that helps a bit…overall a fun place to go and if you are in Boulder, I would suggest it..
