Midastee Tea House
This is a hidden little gem. It's not ideally situated, being in a strip mall that's more retail, where one wouldn't expect to find a Taiwanese tea and deli restaurant. And judging from the business, it's still largely undiscovered but hopefully not for long. They serve a variety of Taiwanese dishes, including noodle dishes and appetizers. For some reason, their online menu only shows their afternoon tea, soup, salad, and sandwiches. I've tried the beef stew noodle, which is rich in flavor. I've also tried the Dan-Dan mein, which is also really good. The food here is very authentic and fresh. They also have boiled vegetable dishes which the wife really enjoyed. The kids loved the pork dumplings which looked like they were freshly made from scratch. The tea drinks are very good too. I think Midastee will become a regular stop.
