Kimberly Ann's Victorian Tearoom
This is a wonderful home in Old Town Glendale owned by Mae, the chef, and family operated. The food is delicious, whether it's an afternoon tea (requiring advance notice) or a drop-in lunch. Salads, sandwiches and the like are all wonderful, and Mae is famous for her quiches and scones. A cheese scone often accompanies lunch, and a variety of scones are offered with afternoon tea or just as a treat by itself, always accompanied by Devonshire cream and lemon curd. The rooms are decorated by Mae and Kimberly Ann, and each one is delightfully different. Be sure to support this local business -- it's well worth visiting for tea or lunch!

The Spicery in Our 1895 Home
I always enjoy my trip to the Spicery, and the staff is very attentive and cheerful. And the food -- oh, it's delicious! They have very special homemade rolls with most dishes that are to die for -- their salads are fantastic and the quiche is my total favorite. The home itself lends so nicely to the atmosphere of the meal also. Don't miss it!
