Silver Tips Tea Room
I came here last year w/ a group of Red Hatters & I was VERY IMPRESSED! I am used to dining out frequently & have been to other Tea Rooms, & I must say the staff was professional, the food selection, portion size, price & TASTE was AB FAB! The decor was not overly feminine, as is in most Tea Rooms, which can be a plus, as it does not intimidate males who want to take their Lady out for a special treat :0D I was particularly impressed w/ the selection & display of the variety of teas, & even took several photographs while I was there! A must & worth travelling to! The tea, sandwiches, scones & desserts are to die for! I recommend the Tea Party for One!!!
Tearoom response:
Thank you, Marie. I will share your kind words with our staff. I'm glad you liked our 'not overly feminine'decor because we do have many men who frequent our Tea Room and we wanted them to feel welcome. Come back again soon. Rgds, Anupa

Cup & Saucer Tea Room at The Pandorica
I have been to this Tea Room many times (including High Teas), as I am a local-HOWEVER- I wouldn't make a point of telling anyone to travel to come here. The owners are sweet, the atmosphere is pretty, but the food- the selection is not that great, the quality of the sandwiches & desserts are not up to par, the portions are generally small & I find the prices to be too high considering what you get. Nine times out of ten, I would have to say the service was sorely lacking. I am accustomed to dining out quite frequently & have gone to places like the L'Escoffier at the Culinary Institute, so I know what I'm talking about!
