Uniquely Yours Tea Room THE BUTLER HOUSE
I want to take the opportunity to thank Harriet McCray for hosting a booksigning for my book 'May - December Winds: (And Dorothy, You're Not in Kansas Anymore). the event on Saturday, May 20, 2006 entitled:'A Serious Talk Over Tea' brought teens and adults together to talk about predatory relationships. Most of the teens had never experienced 'a social tea'and the looks on their faces were memorable. Ms. McCray has more than a unique tea room, she has a community meeting area for all to enjoy. And if you just want to experience a Victorian Era with your great-grandmother or grandmother or mother, you can do that, too. Oh and me, well I'm an author from Detroit who was brought to tears by the beauty, uniqueness, and special celebrity treatment Ms. McCray and her staff gave me. Excellent food and tea, excellent people that meant so much to me that I called all my friends and business partners in Michigan to tell them to travel to experience the 'Uniquely Yours Tea Room'.
