The Hooker Tea Company
I purchased several different teas from this shop. Kyoto Cherry Green was one and I never knew a tea could brew up to taste stale. Another that I have purchased several times is the Masala Chai and I have noticed the quality seems to have gone down. The first time I purchased this tea it was absolutely fabulous, it was so alive with spices and flavor. The next time it seems like there was much less flavor I noticed there was less Cardamom pods and I did not taste the ginger like I did the first time. It really was so sad! I have tried their food and it was fresh and tasty. They do offer several interesting events there that I would like to attend. If only they served staying customers like a true tea house where you receive a pot of tea with a tradition tea cup. There is nothing as dull as tea from a paper cup. I hope they step up the location is great and it is a very relaxing area with a beautiful museum right across the street and the view of the bay this could be a very happening establishment if they just tried.

I sincerely apologize for your experience. I assure you that we use the same ingredients for our teas since day one.
Although we are not a traditional tea room serving an afternoon or high tea, we do offer pot service to our customers. The teapot service is a bottomless teapot and is displayed on our menu board for $5.95.
I appreciate your feedback without as an owner I will never know where to improve.
