Southern Gardens Tea Room
My mom and I were in the area and decided to try this tea room. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. However, the tea was terrible!! It was brought out in a tea pot with the tea bag/posset still inside. (Our waitress told us they could add more hot water to the pot if we drank all the tea.) The longer the tea pot sat on our table, the stronger the tea became. Instead of enjoying a cup of tea with our dessert (which was very good), we had this dark-brown, bitter tasting brew. Please, please learn how to brew tea!
