Brambleberry Cottage and Tea Shoppe
The brambleberry cottage and tea shop is a wonderful place. Before I got there, I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived I saw only a small house that looked like it was from the 50’s. It was not at all what I thought it was going to be. But I was delightfully surprised when I saw the inside of this decadent “cottage”. The walls were painted beautifully with nice heart-warming quotes all around the place. The two “masterminds” behind this gorgeous tea shop are Dawn Kiki and Laura Henegar. I would like to personally thank them for the amazing time I had while I was there. I have never been a fan of tea, so I didn’t like the tea. That’s not fair for me to judge them. My opinion of the tea shouldn’t matter because I don’t like tea. But what I did like was the three tiered plates they brought to us with many marvelous and delicious treats. Before I went there, I had never eaten a scone before. It was amazing, and it was even better after I put some of the Merion berry jam on top of it. I think that Laura did an amazing job preparing all of the treats they gave us. I didn’t like the raspberry treat or the cucumber dill sandwich, but then again I also don’t like raspberries or cucumbers in general. So that wasn’t their fault. The atmosphere was great. I felt like I was in the UK having a tea party with a lot of my friends. The whole time I was there, I was having fun eating and drinking and laughing with my buddies at the table with me. I had a great time and I wanted Dawn and Laura to know that I loved the time I spent there. I probably would not return because of the fact that I don’t like tea, so I don’t think it is worth it to spend that kind of money when I don’t even like the main item on the menu. The place was great though. I had a wonderful time there, and anyone who is planning to go there should definitely go. It is worth it if you enjoy drinking tea and eating delicious desserts and snacks. Overall, the place was amazing. In stars, I would give it a 4 out of 5
