Sweet Simplici-Tea
First off I have to say ... these women really know what they're doing. There is nothing 'stuffy' about the two women who own and run this place. They are very warm and down to earth. They are two of the most welcoming and hospitable people you will ever meet. When you arrive, you really feel they are glad you came. But not only do they have the rare gift of hospitality, but they also know what they're doing in the kitchen. Everything we were served from their creative menu was (seriously) the best I've ever had. We kept thinking that eventually they would present us with something that was just mediocre ... but no. Every course was fabulous. Best scones EVER (and I've had scones here and abroad in too many tea rooms to count) but nothing compares to these. We were served quiche as part of the savories that was just outstanding. And coconut cake was served with the desserts at the end which was simply beyond compare. If you want to treat yourself and your friends to a special afternoon, Sweet Simplici-Tea is THE place to go!
