A Taste of Britain
Yes parking is difficult but this is a nice place for high tea. It is not 'swamky' but has a homey feel to it like you are in someone's home- it is low key - if you are looking for the Ritz, this place isn't it. I think there are many snobby people who live on the mainline who wrote unkind & unfair things about T.O.B. The place is NOT dirty. I guess because it is low key and homey people want to be mean. The scones and sandwiches and pastries for high tea were good. The scones are enormous. The mainline is full of pretentious snobs and snobby places. Taste of Britain is home style and low key. It doesn't have an attitude. That's why I LIKE it!
