The Whistling Kettle
The Whistling Kettle is a gem. It is located on a quaint street with fun shops and a lovely little park for a summer sit. There is outdoor seating which is great during the warmer months. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially in the winter. The teas are absolutely fantastic-my recommendation would definitely be the Earl Grey Cream. The scones are to die for-cinnamon chip is the best and the cream and jam spread is so yummy. All of the food is amazing. You'll want to try everything! A great feature is that you can smell any of the teas which are displayed in cute little jars. The service is excellent-it can be a bit slow when they are busy, but that is part of the experience. Tea time is supposed to be relaxing and certainly not a rush job. This place is a must for anyone! It is comfortable for guy or girl, young or old. As for the quality of the tea, we have recently moved across country and I am still going to order my tea from the Whistling Kettle despite there being plenty of tea rooms where I now live.
