Two A Tea
This place overall was great. The tea selection was wonderful. The decor is very nice and cozy. The waitstaff was wonderful once we were seated. They were very helpful and accomodating. However, when we came in we were left in the front, waiting a good 20 minutes to be seated despite our reservations. I guess it's the hustle and bustle of opening time. That's why I chose good and not excellent service. As for the food, everything was great except for the sandwiches. I guess I'm very particular of eating fresh food. I could tell the bread for the sandwiches at least have been refridgerated for quite some time because the breads were a bit stiff and still cold. The rest of the food was wonderful. I especially liked the apricot scone.

Lovejoy's Tea Room
This is by far one of the better tea places I've been too. The food and tea selection are wonderful. The decor is interesting. It is better than some of the top 10 California places listed here that I've been to in terms of food and tea selection. The service is a bit slow since there appears to only be 2 or waitresses. Overall, I had a great experince.

Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique
This is by far the worst run business, so much so that I don't think it should even call itself a business. Sure maybe the food is great, the teas are awesome (this is hypothetically speaking... their food could taste like crap)... but good luck even making it through the door. I've tried calling this place for the past 48 hours (during it's supposed hours of operations) trying to make a reservation. Nobody picks up the phone at this place and their lousy voicemail box is full... goes to show how often they even bother using the phone. Sad part is that reservations are required and they need you to fork out your credit card number in advance in order to even make a reservation. So I've tried calling for 2 days then finally I get a human to pick up the damn phone yesterday (about 10 minutes before closing time for them). Well ... even then the reservation process is so complicated that no reservations were made. She tells me she'll call me right back because she needs to check the fifty billion messages first because they have priority... umm.... well she never gave me a call back. Today I decided to give them a call again...scratch that.. i've called about 5 times... nobody picked up yet again. So good luck to you all in the reservation process. I sure as hell will never try going to this place again.
Tearoom response:
Dear Jenny,
I personally take care of my customers during business hours and do my best to return phone calls after hours or the next business day. If I have somehow missed you I apologize and would love to serve you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Barbara
