Uniquely Yours Tea Room THE BUTLER HOUSE
I had the pleasure of attending this fantastic tearoom's first six course dinner last night. I have been to plenty of five star restaurants in my life and this certainly topped any meal I've had anywhere. My favorites of the night were the wild mushroom squares, the creamy tomato and basil soup, and the chicken with forty cloves of garlic (I must say there can never be too much garlic, wow). This is not to say that any of the food went to waste because the other three dishes were just as delicious. All the of food coupled with the tea that was recommended by Harriet herself, Ginger Bread Cream, the romantic candle lighting, and the elegant Victorian style atmosphere made it a truly phenomenal meal. My friends and I stayed long after the meal, sipping tea, and roaming around the two floors with Victorian style and tea related gifts. I probably got half of my Christmas shopping done in one night J. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to relax, eat, drink tea and forget about their hectic lives for an evening.
