The Spicery in Our 1895 Home
I recently had tea here. The first course was a scone, which was very dry, small, more like a cookie than a scone. It was accompanied by what was said to be lemon curd. This was in a small pot and you poured it out. Not like any lemon curd I had ever had. The taste was good, but too runny. Our second and third courses were sandwiches and then dessert. These were excellent, both in taste and appearance. However, I feel the scone course needs some improvement. Would not have tea again, but would have a lunch.
Tearoom response:
Thank you for your candid review and we have improved our Lemon Curd and our Scones. I am so sorry they were not up to our quality. Please visit us again and give us a second try for our Tea.

Kimberly Ann's Victorian Tearoom
I just finished reading the posted reviews and unless this place has undergone a major makeover, people have very low expectations for a good tea. Tea was choosing a tea bag, sandwiches were all served on the same type of bread. I can't even remember the desert. I just wanted to escape from there.
